Kaho Sauvignon Blanc – 2018

Our ‘Kaho’ Sauvignon Blanc has been fermented in French oak barrels, to produce an ‘old world’ style wine, with Kiwi flair. Kaho is the Maori word for ‘barrel’.

Alc. 13.5% vol.

Review by Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

A beautifully styled, barrel-fermented sauvignon; the bouquet shows Gala apple, liime peel, almond and oatmeal characters. The palate delivers excellent weight and roundness, backed by fine texture and bright acifity, leading to a persistent mouth-watering finish. Complex and engaging.

Rating: 93/100

Review by Bob Campbell, The Real Review

Barrel-fermented sauvignon blanc, with toast and brioche flavours adding extra interest to grapefruit, passionfruit and red capsicum characters. A restrained, mellow wine with a suggestion of fruit-and-alcohol sweetness.
