One Tree Chardonnay – 2018
Named after the solitary tree standing in the centre of our Chardonnay block, the grapes for our 2018 One Tree Chardonnay were hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard, then wild yeast fermented and aged for 11 months in French oak. It has smooth floral and spice notes, backed by a good structure, balance, and length on the finish.

Wonderfully ripe and beautifully fragrant, the wine shows golden peach, mango, fig, vanilla and cedary oak characters on the nose, followed by a opulent palate that is superbly weighted and flavoursome. It is generous, creamy and lingering. At its best now to 2022.

Soft, rich and quite weighty chardonnay with peach, grapefruit, citrus, sizzled butter and spicy oak flavours supported by a pleasing backbone of fruity acidity. An attractive, flavoursome wine with development potential. Drinking 2019-2024.
